YB WEB DESK. Dated: 9/19/2020 9:19:03 AM
Jammu, Sept 18 Medical Assistant /Pharmacist Association on Kathua met with JKAP leader Yaseer Choudhary to raise their demand of issuance of certificate and license of pharmacist in UT of J&K. The association has submitted a detailed memorandum to him and demanded that the Govt. is playing with the future of more than 25,000 trained pharmacists/Medical Assistants. They submitted that all these trained pharmacists have completed their course before abrogation of Article 370 and 35A under J&K State Paramedical council which was later seized after turning the state into UT on Aug-5, 2019. Now Central Act of Pharmacist 1948 is in vogue after the abrogation of Article370 and 35A. They urged him that since their course was completed before coming into force Central Act of Pharmacist, so their demand of issuance of License and Certificates is genuine and justified.
