Sportspersons demand well equipped gym in MA Stadium

Multi-purpose gym that was operational in MA Stadium earlier is now closed. The players, bodybuilders who used to practice in the gym are now facing hardships due to closure of the gym.
When the gym was operational, that time also it was not very well maintained and had very few equipments but the players somehow managed to do their work out in the gym. But with the closure of the gym they are not able to do the regular exercises. Correspondent of Young bites, Vikas Gupta interacted with the players who used to come to the gym, some of them include Bhanu Pratap Singh(Wushu) Asian Games Bronze medallist, Dr Kuljit Singh(Judo), National medalist India camp, Danish Sharma (Judo) Rashid Choudhury (fencing), Shweta Thakur judo, international champion. All the players said that gyming is an important important part of every game. Every game requires weight training be it judo, boxing, Wushu or any other game. Gyming is an integral part and an essential requirement for every game. Games like boxing, judo requires weight training at least once a week.
The players said that in every state there is atleast one A class multi-purpose gym. The players who have won the medals in various games like Asian Games and another international game say that they have qualified such big competitions with hard work so they we also expect government to give us each and every facility so that the players do not suffer and carry out with their work out properly.
