Mantra from Dr Gurmeet to relieve from stress: “me time” is the most important thing, give yourself time, everything is transit, don’t worry at all nothing is permanent. Lead a disciplined life, do physical activities, practice yoga- pranayam, do prayers, love yourself”.
Dr Gurmeet Kaur is a famous Psychiatrist. She believes in living a healthy life with a positive attitude. She believes that women empowerment is from ages. She says that our country is of saints who have believed in worshiping women as “devis”, “kanjaks”. Right from childhood she wanted to join the medical profession as she wanted to do something for the society.
In her school days she was quiet active in curricular activities. She trained herself in Bhartya Natyam, Kathak and was quiet active in drama, dance, sports in school days. She feels proud to say that she is the first doctor in her family. Her mother is her motivation, she wanted her to be empowered from childhood. Her mother always narrated her stories of ‘Jhansi Ki Rani’ and wanted her child to be as strong as ‘Jhansi ki Rani’. She thinks that if a mother is empowered then her whole family gets empowered. She thinks that every parent should have confidence in their kids. Every woman should be aware of her rights, but never forget her duties.
On drugs addiction she feels sad to say that the children are getting addict to the chemical drugs called “Chitta” .She says that addiction starts with experimentation, peer pressures, broken relationships etc. Taking these drugs activates pleasure circuit, they get kick so they want to take it again and gradually it becomes addiction. Addiction leads to doing wrong deeds to get the drugs at any cost. So the children start stealing money and follow a wrong path.
Doctors Gurmeet says that drugs is a proxy war, neighboring countries are sending narco terrorism to our country.
