DGP reviews arrangements at high level officers meeting

Director General of Police (DGP), Dr. S.P Vaid reviewed the arrangements for the 30th Police Public Mela, being held at Gulshan Ground on 25th this month. Twenty four cars and a number of high end gadgets, utility items have been put up as prizes.



Chaired by the DGP, the meeting was attended by Chairperson Police Wives Welfare Association Mrs. Bharti Vaid, Special DG V.K Singh, ADGsP Sh. A.K Choudhary and Muneer Ahmad Khan, IGsP Dr. S.D Singh, Danish Rana, Jagjit Kumar, S.A Watali, M.A Ganai, J.P Singh, Alok Kumar, S.K. Gupta, A.A Wani, senior officers of Police Headquarters and of all the wings/ units connected with the mela.



The DGP while speaking on the occasion emphasized upon the officers for making sufficient arrangements of drinking water, traffic and to ensure safety measures for the mela. He directed the officer to make all necessary security arrangements in and around venue and ensure smooth conduct of the mela.
